The YWCA will stage an event designed to take a Stand Against Racism next month. Chief Executive Officer Carol Hibbs tells Marshalltown Broadcasting the event will be held April 28th during the noon hour. Participants will be invited to wear orange and have signs that signify a community stand against racism. Those participating will line on the sidewalk portion of the South Center Street Viaduct from one end hopefully to the other. Hibbs says sign up stations will be situated on the north and south sides of the bridge.
