On Tuesday the Marshalltown Softball Association held a monthly meeting at Park and Recreation Department headquarters in Marshalltown. The meeting was facilitated by Jennifer Hart of the Parks and Recreation Department. The softball season at the South Sixth Street Softball Complex in Marshalltown is slated to begin at mid month in May. The deadline for individuals and teams to get signed up is April 22nd. Word is their could be a tournament in town as soon as early May with details forthcoming. Chris Carl is Chairman of the group, Deb Grove serves as Secretary.
