The public is invited to gather at the Iowa Veterans Home Cemetery next Monday afternoon to lay to rest a veteran who passed away who has no family to attend his memorial services. Marty Mitchell of the Mitchell Family Funeral Home says Charles Lanam will be laid to rest at the cemetery at the Iowa Veterans Home Monday at 1:30 p-m. Mitchell says he hopes that people will turn out to honor the man who served his country.
