The Diamond in the Ruff pet rescue organization is holding a fundraising garage sale in Marshalltown Friday and Saturday. Spokeswoman Bev Espenschied says the event is being held at the Salvation Army Citadel facility on State Street. The group rescues, finds foster homes and also reunites lost dogs and cats with their owners. Some of the animals will be on hand during the two day sale to help raise funds and create awareness.
