World class PDGA golfer, Scott Stokely of Fort Collins Colorado, visited Marshalltown on Tuesday, May 10, conducting educational events and creating awareness about autism. Stokely has won 22 national and world titles and is offering a free class for those with special needs, as well as a pro clinic and a doubles event at Riverview Park here in Marshalltown that are open to the public. The event is being hosted by the Marshalltown Disc Club of which Steve Synder, of Marshalltown Community College, is the local contact person.
