Today is day 1 of the 3-day state co-ed track meet which is taking place at Drake Stadium in Des Moines. It’s a whirlwind 3 days jam-packed with boys’ and girls’ track and field events involving multiple classes of competition. The weather looks very favorable for the events. Large crowds are anticipated.
