(Boone, Iowa) – Part of the facade at the Boone History Center came tumbling down to the ground this weekend. Authorities say, bricks and other materials fell down, just as renovation work was about to begin on the historic 109-year-old building. No injuries were reported. Work is set to begin next month. The entire project is estimated to cost over $300,000.
