(Des Moines, IA) – A meeting has wrapped up between the Iowa Utilities Board and officials with Dakota Access, outlining exactly when construction may begin on the Bakkan Oil Pipeline. The board has given the go ahead for construction of the pipeline to begin in those areas outside the jurisdiction of the U.S. Army Corps. of Engineers. Construction on the pipeline came to a halt again after a Native American Burial site was discovered in Lyon County.
