The Marshall County Auditors office has announced that absentee voting for the August 2nd referendum for the proposed police and fire department building will begin Friday. Voters can do so at the Marshall County Auditors office on the second floor of the Marshall County Courthouse during normal business hours. It`s a yes/no vote and will take a 60% yes majority for the measure to pass. This vote involves Marshalltown residents. Voters can obtain a form to have a ballot mailed to them at the counties website.
