(Ankeny, IA) – An Ankeny High School teacher is behind bars accused of having a sexual relationship with a student who recently graduated. Police discovered 27-year-old Amanda Drier and the former student in a car together last month. An investigation revealed the two were engaged in a sexual relationship. Drier has been charged with sexual exploitation by a school employee. State law prohibits relationships by employees with students for 30 days following graduation.
