Mike Williams of Marshalltown won the pie-baking contest at the Central Iowa Fair on Thursday. His creation was called a double chocolate peanut butter pie and won the contest by the slim margin of  75 hundredths of a point. The pies that were in the contest were auctioned off at the conclusion of the event and raised $105 for the fair. Two other pies received high marks, including a raspberry cream pie and a gooseberry pie.
