(Ames, IA) – Ames Police are investigating an accident where a car plowed into a house. It happened in the 700 block of Douglas Avenue. Police say, 25-year-old James Hunt was driving the car when the accelerator became stuck sending the vehicle into the side of the house. A female passenger was taken to a nearby hospital with a leg injury. The house suffered minor damage. Hunt was cited for failure to control a vehicle and not having a valid driver’s license.
