City officials in Marshalltown have begun the process of follow up work after voters this week approved a referendum to finance the joint police and fire station project. City Administrator Randy Wetmore says the design of the project is next in line, he also says a citizens committee will be utilized to help move the project forward and make sure things are transparent and the public is informed as to what is going on.
