A law enforcement chase on Wednesday ended up with a person arrested, some squad cars damaged, a deputy with a minor injury, and a stolen car stopped in the middle of a field. Authorities identify the suspect as 29 year old Kirk Williams of Marshalltown. Multiple law enforcement agencies were involved. The chase ended at a location near Gilman and Laurel. The deputy who suffered minor injuries was out of Jasper County. The Marshalltown Police Department was involved along with the Marshall and Jasper County Sheriffs Departments and the Iowa State Highway Patrol. Williams faces a number of charges.
