Weather looks good for a football Friday night

A long time tradition in Iowa, the first night of the high school football season is tonight, with games all over the listening area starting out the nine game high school football seasons in the state of Iowa. The forecast does look good, the weatherman is calling for rain during the overnight time frame tonight, but the rain is not expected in the Marshalltown area till after 1-am. The interesting thing about the high school football season in Iowa is the gradual change in the weather generally speaking as the season, nine weeks worth, evolves, by the time the regular season concludes and the play offs begin there is a chill of fall in the air, but for tonight it will be a nice summer evening. KFJB will broadcast the Marshalltown High School game from Ames tonight with Lance Renaud, kick off will be seven o’clock p-m.
