A good start to the season for the Marshalltown High School swim team as they defeated Des Moines East at the Scarlet pool by the score of 91-79. The Bobcats won three events and were runner up ten times in events that provided the margin of victory. The team is 1-0. Next up on the schedule  is a three-way meet with Oskaloosa and Des Moines North at the Roundhouse pool on September 6 at 5:30 p.m.
