The Marshall County Board of Supervisors meet in regular session today at the County Courthouse at 9:00 a.m. According to the published agenda, the board will be working through 22 items of business. Among the highlights, Big Brothers and Big Sisters will be asking to use the courthouse sidewalks for an art walk event scheduled for September 30th. The County Secondary Roads department will be asking that a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 pick up truck be purchased from Deery Brothers of Ames. Also a proclamation will be read in honor of the month of September being Library Card Sign Up Month. The meeting, which is open to the public, will take place on the third floor of the courthouse in the Northeast Meeting Room.
