The Marshall County Board of Supervisors read and approved a proclamation stating that September is Library Card Sign Up Month. Chairman, Denny Grabenbauer says a valid library card is one of the most important resources a student or anyone can have. In other news from the meeting on September 6, Buzzed Bee Meadery was granted a renewal of what is called a Class C Native Wine License. This essentially enables them to be in business. The business is co-owned by Michelle Spohnheimer. Michelle and her husband run the operation at a location in rural Marshall County. The Secondary Roads Department was granted permission to purchase a Dodge Ram pick up truck from an Ames dealership at a price tag of $36,000.
