On Thursday evening the Marshalltown Sophomore football team beat Norwalk on the road 20-14. Quarterback Jacob Smith had three touchdown passes in the six point win. The girls swim team beat Grinnell 121-63 at the Roundhouse pool. Friday night the varsity football team will play Newton at Newton in a game that kicks off at 7:30 at H-A Lynn Stadium at Newton. Airtime for a broadcast of the game on KFJB will be 7:05 p-m with Lance Renaud and Ken Huge. Marshalltown is 1-3, Newton is 4-0.
