The Marshalltown High School boy`s golf team placed second at the Central Iowa Metro League Iowa Conference tournament Wednesday at the Legacy Golf Course at Norwalk. Junior Nate Vance led the Bobcat golfers with a 1 over par 73, Marshalltown shot a 309 which was six shots in back of the winner Dowling Catholic. Bobcats Cole Davis shot a 76 and Tate Carlson carded an 80. It was a fall like day for golf with winds at 15 miles per hour during the meet.
