The Indianapolis Colts are part of a three-way tie for first place in the AFC South following their complete dismantling of the New York Jets.

Tight end Dwayne Allen grabbed three touchdown passes in the first half of the Colts’ 41-10 laugher at the Meadowlands. Allen had scoring receptions of 23, 21 and seven yards while Indianapolis was building a 24-3 halftime lead.

Andrew Luck was 22 of 28 for 278 yards and four touchdowns before being taken out of the game in the fourth quarter. The Colts also 139 yards rushing, with Frank Gore providing 79 on 20 carries.

The outcome leaves the Colts, Texans and Titans 6-6 heading into the final month of the season.

The Jets are 3-9 after mustering just 250 yards of total offense. Ryan Fitzpatrick was lifted at halftime after completing just five of his 12 passes for 81 yards and one interception. Bryce Petty wasn’t much better, going 11-for-25 for 135 yards, one TD and two picks.
