Marshalltown got swept by Newton on Thursday night at the Roundhouse in Marshalltown, losing the girls game 45-38 and the boys game 64-34. The Junior Varsity boys won by the score of 47-31. The wrestlers went on the road and beat Des Moines Roosevelt 39-34. On Friday Fort Dodge comes to town for a varsity basketball doubleheader with games at 6:15 and 7:45 p-m.
