Monday marked the second straight day in the listening area in which there was a peak wind gust over 40 miles per hour. Yesterday`s peak wind gust was 43 miles per hour. Despite that there was welcome sunshine on the day after Christmas. On Christmas Day a wind gust of 45 miles per hour took place. The weather the next few days promises to be calmer as we approach the end of the year.
