Malory Henze of Marshalltown High School placed 10th in the Class 4-A discus competition Thursday during day one of the State Track and Field meet at Des Moines. The distance on her best throw was 116 feet, four inches. The MHS  boys four by 800 meter relay team placed 24th in their competition. No MHS girls tennis player qualified for state at district play which took place Thursday at Waterloo. Friday night the MHS girls soccer team will play at Des Moines North. Kick off time is six p-m.
