The Marshall Softball Classic is being played at Marshalltown Community College. On Friday the MHS softball team beat Des Moines Roosevelt 6-3 and lost to Colfax Mingo 6-0. They will play twice more on Saturday. The baseball will play in a tournament Saturday at Johnston. They will play Sioux City Heelan and Sioux City North.
