The Fourth of July holiday period beckons. Triple A Iowa/Minnesota has been saying this will be the busiest travel period for the Fourth of July ever because of the price of gas which presently is 2.14 for a gallon of unleaded in Marshalltown. Some people will have Monday of next week off, some will not and then Tuesday is the Fourth of July. Marshalltown will have its Community Fireworks Show at the Central Iowa Fairgrounds Tuesday at dusk. Gates will open at the Fairgrounds at four p-m.
