Stolen vehicle crashes into the Roundhouse

A truck that was stolen crashed into the north doors of the Marshalltown Roundhouse at Marshalltown High School Friday morning and police have an investigation underway. Police were called to the scene at 4:15 a-m. No one was in the vehicle at the time. School Superintendent Doctor Theron Schutte says Buildings and Grounds crews worked to secure the doors as quickly as they could. Athletic Director Rollie Ackerman says no activities will be interfered with. Dr. Schutte says the repairs of the Roundhouse are dependent on the availability of door frames and glass which could be a few weeks out.
