Several area teams are preparing to continue their football seasons and attempt to reach the state championships in the UNI-Dome.

Gladbrook-Reinbeck will be on the road at Wapsie Valley in a first round Class “A” showdown, while  Lynnville-Sully will host New London.

South Hamilton-Jewell packs up to head for Denver in class “1A”, while Pells Christian has a home game versus Signourey-Heota.

In the “2A” bracket, Dike-New Hartford plays at Hampton, while Aplington-Parkersburg entertains LaPorte City.

In “3A”, Dallas-Center Grimes hosts Carlisle, while Pella entertains Webster City.

In “8-Man”, HLV-Victor plaus host to Lone Tree.

All first round playoff games are scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff this Thursday evening.
