An ice skating rink will be open for your skating pleasure during this weekend as part of the annual Holiday Stroll.

No, it’s not made of ice, it’s made of a composite material, but will accommodate traditional ice skates. The skating rink will be placed Friday morning at Main Street and 1st Avenue in downtown Marshalltown. Skating hours will be 4 p.m.- 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
