The Girls State High School Swimming and diving Championships will continue to call Marshalltown “home” through 2022.

The Marshalltown YWCA-YMCA says the Girls High School Athletic Union has extended the contract with the Y for the girls state meet. The deal helps to soothe a little bit of the pain felt when the Boys State Swim meet was awarded to the Iowa City area a few months ago.
