The annual Cy-Hawk basketball challenge, round one, went to the Iowa Hawkeyes last night. Makenzie Meyer’s 18 points helped Iowa down Iowa State 61 to 55 in Hilton.
The Iowa women next host Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Saturday, while the Cyclones take on North Carolina Central on Sunday.
