Keota’s John Heisdrofer will be the next president of the American Soybean Associations board of directors. While keeping a close eye on trade policies, Heisdorffer  says making sure lawmakers include a robust insurance program in the next farm bill is also crucial.

Hesidorffer says crop insurance is the only thing left to provide a safety net for soybean growers.
