A Sioux City Democrat is suing Iowa governor Kim Reynolds , saying the state misused tax dollars to cover a deficit. State Representative Chris Hall says the Governor illegally transferred 13 million dollars out of the state’s emergency fund last September.

A spokesperson for Governor Reynolds classified the lawsuit as politically motivated.
