The nomination of former Marshall County Sheriff Ted Kamatchus to be a U.S. Marshall went before the Senate Judiciary Committee Thursday in Washington D.C.

Committee Chair Senator Chuck Grassley recommended that the committee approve Kamatchus’ nomination so it may forwarded to the full Senate for consideration.
