The Marshalltown boys bowling team is again state-bound this year, the top team in yesterday’s state qualifying meet held in Marshalltown.

As a team, the Bobcats bowled the rest of the field over; 3372 for Marshalltown, Linn-Mar a distant second at 2829. Ray Wiegand was the top individual qualifier with a 569 series.

On the girls side, the Bobcats did not qualify for state, but Karlie Potter’s season high 477 series propelled her to State.

The State meet is next week in Waterloo.
