The Marshalltown Skate Park upgrade project is getting a big boost, courtesy of the Community Foundation of Marshalltown. The Foundation has announced that its first 20-thousand dollar Major Impact award will go to Marshalltown Parks and Recreation. The grand will help with the addition of a graffiti wall and pump track to the skate park.
The Community Foundation’s Annual Grant Award Ceremony is slated for March 27th at 5:30 at the Fisher Community Center.
