The University of Iowa’s “Meatless Mondays” are getting some criticism from the from the livestock industry.  The University Student Government and Office of Sustainability came together to create the project based on a national programs same name.  The livestock industry let the Board of Regents know they were upset.  A university spokesman state the dining services are still serving meat, but some students wanted to make others aware of alternative options to eating meat.
