REAL Syrup

The Marshall County Conservation Board’s first Tree to Table Feed is Saturday morning from seven to ten a.m. at the Grimes Farm, Conservation Center. The Noon Kiwanis will be cooking the cakes and sausage and it will be topped with real maple syrup from Marshall County trees. Mike Stegmann of the Conservation Board says there is only a limited supply of the real stuff, so you may want to get their early. The Feed runs from 7 to 10 a.m.

Tickets are six dollars in advance, seven dollars Saturday morning. Proceeds of the feed will be used for new playground equipment at Grammer Grove park, where the trees gave of their syrup for the event.
