It’ll be like déjà vu all over again in Marshalltown starting next week. On Monday, after the morning commute, Center street will be closed at the Linn Creek bridge, for work on the south abutment of the bridge. City Public Works Director Justin nickel says it’s a continuation of last October’s work on the bridge.

Nickel says the detours will be the same last October, using the viaducts on south 3^rd Avenue and/or the 6^th street/3^rd street viaduct. It’s hoped the work will take about two weeks to complete.
