The City of Marshalltown will be receiving some dollars through the National Endowment of the Arts through its “Our Town” program to help with signage and art for the Iowa River Bike Trail.

Twenty-five thousand dollars has been granted by the NEA to support a master planning project.

The City will partner with Marshall County Arts & Culture Alliance, Marshalltown Public Art Committee, Trails, Incorporated and the Hardin County Trail Commission on the project to assure some continuity along the entire 34 mile trail.
