The new five year transportation plan has been unveiled by the Iowa Transportation Commission. It shows  three-point-four BILLION dollars of the program goes for the state roadways  D-O-T spokesman Stuart Anderson says that includes a lot of ongoing work on the interstates, such as on Interstate 35 north of Ankeny.

Other state highway corridors are also in the plan, including continuing work on four-lane improvements on U-S 30 in Tama and Benton County.
