Nate Vance tossed a complete game as Marshalltown capitalized on just about every opportunity on the way to a 9-2 win over Iowa City High last night to earn a berth in the 4A state baseball tourney.

Brackets for the state tourney should be released this morning. You can be assured that, just like last night, Ron Ginapp will be heading to state with the Cats and we’ll have all their games live  on NewsTalk 1230 KFJB.
