The defending state champs will be back at state. The Marshalltown Bobcats, led by medalist J.D. Pollard, captured second in yesterday’s district competition in Marion. Marshalltown and Pleasant Valley actually finished tied for the team lead, but the Cats fell to the runner up position on the fifth score tiebreaker. The State Golf Meet begins Friday in Coralville.
