A late rally for the Iowa Hawkeyes came up short at Minnesota, as the Gophers held off the Hawkeyes  92-87 loss.

Averaging 73 points per game the Gophers shredded a porous Iowa defense for 55 points in the opening half. Iowa coach Fran McCaffery

Iowa is now 5-5 in the Big Ten and McCaffery hopes the Hawkeyes can learn from the loss heading into the second half of the league race.
