Ethanol producers may be forgiven if they feel the federal government has pulled a little bait and switch on them.

The E-P-A’s release included statements from five top Iowa Republican office-holders praising the president for working on farmers’ behalf. Both Governor Kim Reynolds and Senator Joni Ernst suggested farmers need to make their voices heard during the 30 day period for public comment on the E-P-A’s plan.
