For the past three years ABATE Dist 6 has put on the Honoring Our Heroes Veterans Memorial Ride (HOH) to raise money for donation to the residents of the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown. The Vets home and staff do everything they can to care for our veterans but budgetary limitations are a fact of life. That’s where HOH comes in. The money raised through HOH benefits the vets directly to provide funds for everything from necessities -such as toiletries and clothing, to inessentials- such as outings for bowling or movies. Things you and I take for granted in our every day lives. Last year HOH raised a little over $3500 for the vets!!!
