M'town Library Summer Hours
The Marshalltown Public Library's summer hours are 9 am-7 pm Monday through Thursdays, 9 am-6 pm Fridays, and 9 am-5pm Saturdays. The library is closed Sundays.

MCC YFU Program looking for host families
Marshalltown Community College will welcome eight international students
through the YFU program for the 2008-2009 academic year. The students will
arrive the first week of August and need host families. Students have their
own spending money and health insurance. If they choose to drive, they are
responsible for purchasing their own vehicle and purchasing auto insurance.

Iowa River Hospice Support Groups
Iowa River Hospice hosts a number of support groups each month. Hospice hsots a Grief Healers Support Group on the first Thursday of each month at its offices at 206 West Church Street in Marshalltown. There is a Spousal Support Group which meets on the second Sunday of each month at 5 pm at the Marshalltown Hy-Vee Kitchen. "Common Bonds," a support group for caregivers, meets on the third Monday of each month at 206 West Church Street.
