(Newton, IA) – Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding an inmate who was found dead in a recreation yard at a Newton Correctional facility. Officials tried to revive 51-year-old Dennis Brown. He later died at Skiff Medical Center. An autopsy is pending but officials believe the man died from natural causes. Brown was serving a 20-year sentence on charges of Sexual Abuse.
