The Marshalltown High School baseball and softball teams were in action on the road Monday at Fort Dodge. The baseball team split with the Dodgers, losing the opener 7-3 and taking the night cap 5-3. They have a record of 8-4 on the year. The softball team lost a pair of games to Fort Dodge 10-2 and 7-2 and are win-less on the year. The softball team will host Ankeny tonight at home – game one of a doubleheader and will be broadcast on KFJB at 6:30 p.m. with Lance Renaud on the play-by-play.
