The Marshalltown School District held a public meeting on Thursday on future of the district and its mission. The meeting was held at the Marshalltown Public Library. Teams of students and community members participated. There were two Co-Facilitators who helped conduct the meeting including Drake University Professor Doctor Doug Stillwell, and Jim Verlengia Director of Leadership Supports at Area Education Agency 11. Officials said it was a way for the community to engage in some forward thinking on behalf of the students.
